Edward Mutz, age 82, of Melbourne FL died Wednesday February 29, 2012 at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne FL. He was born June 24, 1929 in Coplay PA. and had been a resident of Melbourne since 1985 moving here from Ormrod, PA. Mr. Mutz was a contractor in Plumbing and heating in Palmerton, Pa. for many years prior to retirement. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War and was a guard at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington D.C.. He was an active member of the Melbourne Coin. Club. Members of his family include his wife of 59 years Anna R. Mutz. A son Thomas Mutz and daughter Debra Zemko. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren. A Visitation will be from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Wednesday March 7, 2012 at Ascension Catholic Church Melbourne FL. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, FL. with honors provided by the U.S. Army.
