Barbara Healey Buontempo 53, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 30, 1959 to James and Barbara Healey. She lived most of her life and was educated in Lynn, Massachusetts, where she graduated from Lynn English High School with the class of 1977. In 2007, she moved to Florida where she resided in Melbourne. She was a production coordinator in the field of electronics for many years and later became a caregiver, dedicating the later part of her life to caring for her parents. "Bianca", as she was known to those closest to her, loved swimming and reading. She was recently preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Healey and a nephew, Joseph LeBlanc. Left behind to mourn her loss is her beloved husband, David Buontempo, employed at Rockwell Collins; her father, James Healey of Melbourne, FL; sisters: Cherylee (Deputy Chief Bill Murray) of Lynn, MA and Joanne LeBlanc (Robert) of Lynn, MA; brothers: James Healey (Jodi) of Tucson AR and Sean (Kristine) Healey of New Hartford, NY; many loving nieces, nephews and friends; and her loving dog "Coey". Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beach Funeral Homes. Donations may be made in Barbara's memory to Hospice of Health First. Condolences and donations may be sent through their website at www.beachfuneralhome.com. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, October 6, 10:30 am, at St. Pius V Parish, Maple Street in Lynn, Massachusetts.
