December 25th, 1920 - September 26th, 2012
Nicholas Skuba , age 91, formerly of Bridgeport, now of Melbourne, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in Melbourne. Nicholas a retired Correctional Officer for the State of CT was born in Lansford, PA to the late Anthony and Suzanne Skuba. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII. Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years Marguerite Hornak Skuba of FL, three devoted children Margaret Ruot of Dary, FL, Robert Skuba and his wife Diane of Newtown, CT and Marybeth Donohue and her husband Kevin of Melbourne, FL, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Nicholas Adam Skuba, a grandson Adam James Luckachina and a son-in-law Gary Ruot. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, October 2nd at 9:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10am in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church Trumbull with a Divine Liturgy. Interment with Full Military Honors will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
