Raymond "Skip" G. Bayliss
July 24th, 1947 - May 7th, 2014
Raymond "Skip" Bayliss, born July 24, 1947, passed away peacefully May 7th, 2014. He is survived by his wife Molly and daughter Ashley. Skip was adventurous, imaginative, and well-liked by all. He had a love for learning and after graduating from FAU earned his masters degree from UCF. He spent 29 years teaching at Surfside Elementary in Brevard county. Once retired he spent his days riding his bicycle, spending time with family, and traveling with his wife. He could be seen on his daily bike rides up and down the Melbourne Beach bike path with a smile on his face. He was an amazing man whose friendly nature made everyone smile. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at the Sebastian Beach Inn in Melbourne Beach on Saturday May 24th from 1-3pm to celebrate his life. "Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, & gratitude." - Denis Waitley
