John Francis Doddy

John Francis Doddy Jr., 82, born December 8, 1931, passed away June 2, 2014 at Vitas Impatient Hospice in Merritt Island. He was an accomplished engineer with the space program from the early 1960's. He worked on the Apollo and Space Shuttle missions. He also worked at Harris, GE, and Northrop DSD in his distinguished career. . He is preceded in death by his parents, John Francis Doddy Sr. and Marie Wagner Doddy. He is survived by brother Glen Doddy of Melbourne; son Daniel, daughter Erin Soland; son-in-law Greg Soland of SC; grandchildren Storm Doddy and Evan Soland, great granddaughters Adeley and Vivian Doddy; niece and nephews Denise, Stan, and Allen Doddy. A special shout out to his friends at "The Office."
