Robert Leigh Shaw

Tribute Robert Leigh Shaw was born on April 23, 1947 and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on July 19, 2022 at age 75. He is now free him from his long journey through cancer. Robert was born to Amos Aaron Shaw and Alma Louise Shaw in Denver, Colorado. Growing up in Denver, Colorado, Bob graduated from Lincoln High School before joining the Navy. He returned to Denver and married the love of his life, Donna Lee Galterio on October 11, 1969 - her 21st birthday. Bob drove trucks, owned his own Auto Parts Store with his brother-in-law Ronnie Galterio, and worked for Duffy Crain. He raced his own car at CDR and Bandimere Speedway. He was most at home in his garage. Extremely gifted with the ability to rebuild cars, Bob was a talented and skilled artist. His sense of humor was infectious. His love for his family, including pets, gave his life purpose. Bob was a kind and generous person. He is proceeded in death by His parents, his brother in-law Stan Harris, his nephew Daniel Galterio and his grandson Joshua Owings. He is survived by his wife Donna Shaw, his sister Jeanette Harris, his brother-in-law, Ronnie (Mary) Galterio, his children and Christie (Steve) Owings, and Richard (Renae) Shaw, his Grandchildren, Courtney (Nicholas) Page, Justin and Nathan Shaw, his Great-Granddaughter Emily Owings, niece Piper Harris and nephew Tony (Tina) Galterio.
