Gerry had a huge personality... people KNEW him everywhere he went. He had a quick wit, and loved practical jokes. He didn't give a straight answer if he thought your question was trivial (like how he got a scar on his chin). But both of his daughters realized there was no better person to confide in. He listened for as long as it would take, give spot-on accurate advice, and then became our biggest cheerleader.... it didn't matter if we were right or wrong, he would go to bat for us... that is until he would try to call us and we wouldn't answer, then our picture would be turned to face his wall (or so he said). But we knew he would quickly get over it. Whatever he put his mind to, he did with excellence. He loved to research and dive into new projects. In recent years he grew a successful hydroponic garden, took wildlife photography, painted outdoor scenery with acrylics on canvas, perfected his skills on the guitar, and taken up banjo. He was on top of current affairs, and you better bet, he was waiting to give you his take on it. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping, restoring a classic car (Elvira), and being on the Indian River in his boat, Karliss (a combination of his daughters names). He had hoped that this year he would be able to get back into boating. He and Linda often said, "Their two daughters were the best thing they did together!" He was an electrician by profession, and valued the time he served his country in the military. Gerald Bullock is survived by daughters: Lisa (Kevin) Hurley and Karen Bransky, sisters: Carol (Grayden) Ladruyrere and Catherine (CD) Alexander, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by: Sister: Barbara Carlton, Mother: Jeanette Smith, Father: Estel Bullock, and Stepfather: Theo Smith. His sisters, daughters, family and friends will miss his mischievous smile and twinkle in his eye. Until we see you again. We love you!
