Joe Thomas Taylor, 86, of Melbourne, FL passed away at home of natural causes on September 27, 2015. He was born on August 2,1929 in Lawson, MO. He was the eighth child of eleven born to Pansy P. (Pence) Taylor and Jerry Simpson Taylor. Joe served proudly in the US Army for 20 years, during which time he traveled throughout Europe and Asia and was the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart. Joe resided in Melbourne, FL for the past 38 years with his wife, Sue. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, shrimping, collecting coins, and discussing politics. He also enjoyed making people laugh and smile whenever he had the chance. He will be greatly missed by all that loved him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years; Sue, children; Shirley Taylor, Marie Apodaca, and Kaylene Taylor and 3 grandchildren. A service will be held at the Beach Funeral Home - West on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 4:00 pm.
