James Matthew Sands "Jim" passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015. He was born on January 19, 1978 in Concord, MA, and is a graduate of Bedford High School in Bedford, MA. Jim was only 37 years old. Jim loved helping anyone in need and had a passion for working on cars. He loved the Doors and all things Jim Morrison. He loved the Red Sox. He loved the New England Patriots and watching games with his dad. He loved music and classic rock. He loved playing sports and being active. He loved fishing and being outdoors, trips to Maine and trips to South Carolina, playing with kids- be they his nephews or any other. He loved dogs. He was great with animals. He was a hard worker, methodical in nature, strong willed in resolve. He was a skilled electrician, roofer, construction worker- you name it he knew it. He was a great co-worker and team player. He was generous and honest. He was romantic and charming. He was bigger than life. He was a loving person who loved to help anyone he could, comfort those who needed it, and lighten the mood when it was too heavy. He loved spending time with his Aunt Donna which he did often. He loved helping the elderly, his neighbors, his friends, his girlfriend and family. He loved all of us. He was such a personable man who touched upon many of our lives- including complete strangers, who he instinctively knew needed attention in some form or another. Jim's death has taken us all by surprise. He will be deeply, deeply missed and in our fondest memories forever. If you would like to help out somehow, please just give a helping hand to someone in need. A random act of kindness would be appropriate because that is what Jim would want you to do. Also, please feel free to post any nice pictures that you have of Jim, share your memories of him with the rest of us, and share this post with anyone you think should know about Jim's passing. You can share directly on this website. Jim is survived by his parents; Roger and Diane Sands, siblings; Kim Aless (Chris), and Michael Sands (Lindsey), nephews; Vincent, Sam, Monte, and Nicky, grandmothers; Flora Sands and Pat Clark, girlfriend; Gina Turcotte, and a large loving extended family.
