Jay Lawrence Mufson

"Jay Lawrence Mufson passed away at his home in Melbourne, FL on March 8, 2017 at the age of 65. Jay is predeceased by his mother and father, Sylvia and Solomon Mufson. He is survived by his loving wife Annette of 28 ½ years. They were married in Miami, Florida on July 3, 1988. Jay is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lisa (Jason) Bresson, his grandsons Levi and Jacob Koeppel, his sister Rita Diaz and his many sister and brother-in-laws, his nieces and nephews, and his faithful four-legged companion Bella Mufson. Jay was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1951. He graduated from Erasmus Hall in 1969. Prior to living in Melbourne, Jay and Annette lived in Glen Cove, NY for 15 years while Jay enjoyed a successful career at Wayside Fence in Bayshore, NY. Mostly, Jay enjoyed going on cruises with Annette, Yankees baseball, and celebrating life and love with his family and many friends. A memorial service will be held at Temple Beth Am in Miami, FL this Monday, March 13 at 11:00 am.
