90 YEARS LOVED Helen R. Durfee of Attica, NY. passed away peacefully at her daughter Loretta's home in Melbourne, Florida July 24, 2018 with her family by her side. Helen was born in Elmira, NY. Jan 10,1928 and raised in Warsaw, NY. She married Robert C. Durfee (deceased) and made their home in Attica. Helen is survived by her four children, Roger (Denise) Durfee, David Durfee, Vicky (John) Rykert of Attica, Loretta (Bill) Leahy of Melbourne. Her four grandchildren, Julie (Steele) Cook, Chris (Nikki) Durfee, Matt (Ellie) Durfee of Attica, Jessica (Brody) Padgett, of West Melbourne Fl. and 8 great grandchildren. Not only was Helen a wonderful mother and grandmother she loved and cared for many children that walked through her door. She also loved to cook and bake and shared with friends family and neighbors. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Florence and Onais Elwood, brother Charles Elwood, sisters Mary Bigelow and Norma Elwood. To Honor her memory memorials can be made to: Attica Fire Dept. 9 Water Street, Attica, NY. 14011. A Celebration Of Helen's Life will be held at a later date.
