Arthur La Vann Crosswell, 80, of Indialantic, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2010. He was born and raised in Florence, S.C. Prior to graduating from the University of South Carolina with a degree in electrical engineering, Arthur served the country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. In 1963, Arthur and his family moved to Brevard County, where he began his career at NASA. He continued to work as an aerospace engineer with various organizations until his retirement from the field in 1995. Arthur truly enjoyed meeting new people, and soon began a second career with the Walt Disney World Company. It was there that he was recognized with the prestigious Partners in Excellence Award. He was an active member of the Holmes Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. Arthur is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie- sons James (Victoria) and William Crosswell, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2 P.M. on Friday, April 30, 2010, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to William Child's Hospice House, 381 Medplex Pkwy. Palm Bay, FL 32907
