Albert John Daversa, 95, of Melbourne, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011. He was born on August 9, 1915 in Altoona, PA to Antonio and Frances Daversa. Albert served his country honorably in the U.S Army. Albert had a passion for golfing, bowling and playing the guitar. Albert is survived by his wife of 72 years, Florence, daughters; Alberta (William) Humphrey of Viera, Florence Warren of Melbourne, and Carolyn (Vincent) Pisculli of Wake Forrest, N.C, 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Beach Funeral Homes, Melbourne, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, wake service will be held at 3:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Ascension Catholic Church, Melbourne, at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Albert's memory to Vitas Hospice, 4450 W. Eau Gallie Blvd, Suite 280, Melbourne, FL 32934.
