Shirley "Sinsel" Ann Lopez
April 9th, 1936 - August 23rd, 2011
Shirley Ann Sinsel Lopez, 75, of North Indialantic passed away peacefully on 23 August 2011. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lou, and her daughter Lori of Satellite Beach. She taught school for over 40 years and was the founder of the Hoover Junior High Hawketts, a drill team that was so successful that during their several years of existence they were invited to perform at a number of events including the Sugar Bowl and the Thanksgiving Day Macy's parade in New York City. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Satellite Beach and until recently quite active in a number of organizations that were dedicated to various charities. Services are tentatively set for 2PM on Monday, 29 August at the Trinity Presbyterian Church located at 638 South Patrick Drive. Friends and relatives are invited to call the church at (321) 777-2047 for confirmation of the date and time of services as well as directions for those coming in from out of town.
