John *Fitchy* Fitch
April 2nd, 2013 - April 2nd, 2013
Fitch, John (Fitchy) 69, of South Pasadena, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at his home. Fitchy was a Viet Nam war hero, having earned a Silver Star, a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart with three Oak Leaf Clusters. He was a true patriot, who honored all of those who served like he did. He was a volunteer at Bay Pines, serving food to homeless vets, and taking care of those who needed him. He was a generous man who helped anyone who was in need. As a father, he was loving, funny and caring. He was always around when he was needed by his son and his daughter. Angela, his ex-wife will miss getting her wine money for Christmas, and that will hurt. John believed in hard work, providing love and laughter, and was an all-around good man. He is survived by his children Bryan Austin Fitch and Megan Christine Fitch; his mother Jean Christine Fitch; a sister Linda Jean Swift and her husband Gregory; a brother Jimmy Fitch and his wife Sheila; a step-daughter Melanie Spencer and her husband Doug and many, many friends. He will forever be missed, and he will never be forgotten.
