Thomas C. Marshall
November 13th, 1940 - February 18th, 2022
Thomas Callaway Marshall Jr, 81, of Satellite Beach, FL, passed away on February 18, 2022. He was born to the late Thomas Callaway Marshall and the late Bessie Ada Dobbs Marshall on November 13, 1940 in Atlanta, GA. Tom graduated from Northside High School in Atlanta, GA, class of 1958. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in ceramic engineering. He married the late Nancy Pierce Marshall in 1962. His successful sales career led the family to live in many diverse U.S. locations in both the midwest and the south. Upon retirement, he and Nancy left the cold and snow of OH and moved to the beachside warmth of Satellite Beach, FL in 2013. Tom loved the beach and was very happy to live so close to it. Tom was a car enthusiast and enjoyed watching car races. He was a Civil War buff and collected artifacts from the era when he was young. He especially loved his antique gun collection. He equally loved the music of The Kingston Trio, Jack Benny, and Ahmad Jamal’s Live at The Pershing Lounge album. Some of his favorite moments included watching college football with his family, sharing interesting stories about his adventurous childhood, and spending time with family and friends. Tom’s brother, Henry Harris Marshall II, preceded him in death. Tom is survived by his sister, Mara Dobbs Marshall Mcmanus (?), his children Carole Murphy (Doug) and Kathryn Kessler (Jeff). He has 4 grandchildren: Katelyn (Daniel), Spencer, Grace, and Madisyn. His sweet Yorkies Daisy and Georgia brought him daily joy. A private Celebration of Life for Tom will be scheduled soon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Heart Association. Click here to donate
