Gwendolyn A. Chyles-Ozoe was born August 21, 1935 in Chicago. She passed away peacefully August 30, 2022 in Melbourne, Florida. Gwen had a wonderful career at Cahners Publishing in Chicago before retiring to Florida. She loved to paint, travel, was a gourmet cook/foodie and loved to read. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ray Ozoe; her parents, Henry Chyles and Zena Chyles; her sister Beverly Schiffer; her brother-in-laws, Geoffrey Kaercher and Victor Schiffer; and her nephew Michael Kaercher. She is survived by her sister Nancie Kaercher; her nephews and nieces, Steven (Donna) Kaercher, Eric Kaercher, Pam Kaercher, Suzanne (John) Shultz and Jennifer Thompson. Her great nieces and nephews, Sarah Kaercher, Nick Witherspoon, Gabby Witherspoon, Stephen Uhlarik, Zena Schalk, Charles and Jackson Shultz. Also her wonderful lifelong friends Jane and Paul Abramchik and many others including Maryann Fichtner and Maren Landry. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17th from 3pm - 5pm at 686 Rossmoor Circle, Melbourne, FL 32940 In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Moffitt Cancer Center at moffitt.org/give
