Patrick Joseph Raley (71) passed away peacefully on November 18th, 2023. Born on March 22, 1952 in Evansville, Indiana to John and Margaret Raley. Patrick, or Pat, as he is more affectionately known by his friends and family, grew up in Evansville Indiana with his 6 brothers and sisters. Pat attended Mater Dei High School where he was an accomplished athlete excelling on the cross country and track teams where he broke his brother's record for the mile and held that record for a few years. Along with sports, he was also recognized at a young age for his leadership by the United State Congress earning the prestigious, Daughters of the American Revolution Citizenship Award. After graduating high school in 1970, Pat briefly attended USI formerly known as ISUE before joining the United States Air Force in 1972. Pat spent 20 years of his Air Force career in the United Kingdom where he retired from active duty and stayed in England for another 23 years. While in England, always friendly and charismatic, Pat enjoyed visiting local Pubs where he never met a stranger and made everyone feel as they were old friends. After 43 years in England, Pat and his partner Shelia moved to Melbourne Florida in 2014. Along with cooking and tapping into his creative side, Pat had a passion for planning events, especially anything and everything to do with golf. He loved helping with golf tournaments and spent many years supporting and raising money for charities benefiting children, meals on wheels, and anything going towards those in need.
