Deborah Lynn Benoit, age 72, of Satellite Beach, Florida formerly from Aurora, Illinois passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024. Deborah was born on July 26, 1951 in Aurora, Illinois. Deborah graduated from West Aurora High School in 1969 and went on to Moser Secretarial School in Chicago. In November 1971, Deborah married William Benoit, celebrating 52 years of marriage. After staying home with their daughters until they started school, she worked for 18 years at Law Title Insurance Company in Aurora. In retirement, she continued to find enjoyment working part time for Precise Title for another 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, kayaking, the beach and pool, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Deborah is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Darlene Anderson, sister, Karen Jean, aunt and uncle, Raymond and Dorothy Wilmarth. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, William Benoit, her sister Kathleen (Stephen) O'Leary of Encinitas, California, and two daughters Caren (Derek) Pfoutz of Satellite Beach, Florida and Michelle (Thomas) Sampson of Marriottsville, Maryland along with 5 grandchildren, Ethan and Isaac Pfoutz and Thomas, Kyle and Olivia Sampson. Services will be held at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach on Friday, February 23rd at 2pm. Visitation will be from 2-3pm with prayer service at 3pm.
