Armando Casanova
September 9th, 1978 - April 17th, 2014
of Tampa, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 17th. He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico and grew up in Fort Myers, Florida, where he graduated from Cypress Lake high school. He served in the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Analyst for ten years, was assigned to the 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum, NY, and deployed to Bosnia Herzegovina, Saudi Arabia, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. Armando worked as a Strategic Planner and Program Manager supporting U.S. Central Command since 2006. He is survived by his wife Sunshine, son Szaden, daughters Elena and Gabriela, parents Armando and Angela of Palm Bay Florida, sister Nicole, brother Ricardo, extended family, and a large military family. His Memorial Service will be held at South Tampa Fellowship's Ballast Point campus located at 5101 Bayshore Blvd Tampa FL 33611 on Saturday, April 26th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, please contact Opinicus Capital at (941) 896-9909 to contribute to his children's college funds.
