Eddie Lee Hefley

Eddie Lee Hefley, 81 of Satellite Beach, Florida passed away on April 13, 2024. Ed was born September 11, 1942 to Lee and Irene Hefley in Downs, Kansas. Ed graduated from Downs HS and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after graduation. Ed was stationed at ten different Air Force Bases during his 26-year career, two of those being overseas assignments. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant and then went to work for Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center Air Force and NASA joint base support contract program management for 22 years. In 1963 Ed married Linda Hardee in Ft. Worth, Texas and had two daughters, Karen and Tina. Ed was predeceased in death by his parents Lee and Irene Hefley, his sister Jane Kaufman, and daughter Karen. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, daughter Tina and son-in-law Mike Telesca. Six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Ed grew up enjoying the outdoors and after he retired, he enjoyed going on cruises and spending time with friends and family. Visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Home located at 1689 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, Florida on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at 12:00 pm at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge.
