March 19th, 1944 - May 29th, 2014
Jose Correa Maymi, 70, of Brandon, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Ybor City Health and Rehab. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he arrived in Brooklyn, NY in 1970 from San Juan, PR. He was a member of the Army Reserve in Ft. Buchanan, PR . He attended Kingstowne Community College in Brooklyn, NY. He returned to San Juan, PR in 1985. He arrived in Brandon, Fl on July 2013. He was preceded in death by Benjamin Correa , Tomasa Maymi . He is survived by his seven children: Maria, Jose, Miguel,Wilfredo, Felix, Nestor, and Jesenia, 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A service will be held at A Life Tribute funeral care, on June 20th at 6pm.
