Virginia Oline Lemme

Lemme, Virginia Oline, "Ginny" 90, of Tampa, FL died peacefully, surrounded by her loving children Tuesday, January 10, 2017. She was born in Portsmouth, NH and raised in Raymond, NH in the family farm house that was built by her maternal grandfather. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from University of New Hampshire where she was on the ice skating team. Virginia moved to New York City and while working at Lord & Taylor she met her husband Raymond whom she married in 1954. They raised their four children in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. She was a member of the United Church of Christ and sang in the choir. She passed on her love of drawing, reading, piano playing and singing to her children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond and her parents Bernice Stannard and Martin Andersen. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Michele Sebti and her husband Said Sebti, Susan Lemme, Pamela Lemme; son, Michael Lemme and his husband Paul Bressi; grandchildren, Maria, Kenza and Omar Sebti, Parker and Forrest Raup; two great grandchildren. All will miss her loving, sweet character and steadfast presence in their daily lives. A funeral service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior. A graveside service will take place on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camp Billings, c/o Ted Rossi, Treasurer, P.O. Box 3539 Stowe, VT 05672. Camp Billings is a non-profit co-ed summer camp on Lake Fairlee in West Fairlee and Thetford, Vermont where she as a child and later her children spent many enjoyable summers.
