Garry Dean Davis

Garry Dean Davis, Gulfport, FL. On January 13, 2016, Garry Dean (Dino) Davis left this world for a more peaceful existence. Born April 13, 1962 in Columbus, OH, he was the son of Geraldine Bishop, a resident of Princeton Health Care. Dino lived the majority of his life in the Washington, DC area where he loved the historical aspects that the city offered. He was a construction worker early in his career but went back to school earning a degree in nursing. He lived in Welch, WV for a time, starting his nursing career at Welch Community Hospital. He eventually traded in the history for the warm beaches of Florida where he continued to work in the nursing field. He was preceded in death by his most faithful companions, Eli and Dixie, his dogs. In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memory are his sister and brother in law, Karen Krajc Barnett and Rhandy Barnett, Princeton, WV; his brother and best friend Shawn Davis of Alexandria, VA; 3 nieces, Kristy Blankenship Saunders, Princeton, WV; Ashley Sullivan, King George County, VA; Rachel Davis, Alexandria, VA and nephew, Josh Davis, King George County, VA. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
