Linda M. Peterseim
July 8th, 1951 - December 16th, 2017
Peterseim, Linda Mary, 66, of Wesley Chapel, FL passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan and moved to Florida from North Royalton, Ohio in 2007, finally settling in Wesley Chapel, Florida in June 2010. She was a 1969 grad of Berea (OH) HS. Linda was a conscientious homemaker and assisted her husband Bill during his career even counseling his clients on marriage issues. She co-hosted their “pilot” television show on Estate Planning for Cable TV and briefly joined him with her own program on Christian Internet Radio. She was a member of The River Church of Tampa Bay in Mango, Florida and, prior to that, The First Assembly of God in Zephyrhills, and, prior to moving to Florida, St. Luke’s in Fairlawn, OH. For over 10 years, Linda volunteered as head Sunday school teacher at Faith Fellowship, Macedonia, Ohio. She journeyed to Botswana and South Africa on repeated mission trips and loved reading the Bible, doing Bible Studies, and watching Christian television. Mostly she enjoyed time with her family but also enjoyed traveling through the West. Her favorite trips were to Hawaii, Israel, and the Greek Islands. She and Bill, at her urging, learned to sail their 34 ft sailing yacht and to kayak, and to snorkel in the Keys and the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. Her favorite memory from childhood was fishing with her beloved Daddy. She loved when Bill would take her flying as long as he didn’t “spin the plane”. In fact, piloting brought them together. She was loved by all who knew her but to her family she was a totally true and devoted wife; loving Mother and Grammy; confidante and compassionate encourager who could make anything better. She is preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Irene McCullough. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bill; Son, Stuart W. Peterseim and his wife, Amanda of Townsend, Georgia; Daughters, Stephanie A. Peterseim of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Tana M. Kouts and her husband, Troy and Grandson Ethan Z. Kouts of Winter Garden, fur child, their Bassett Hound “Honeybun”; brother, Terry McCullough and his wife Julie of Oxford, Michigan; and several cousins, especially her dearest cousin Michelle Paschal of Lapeer, MI. She is truly gone far too soon. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at The River Church of Tampa Bay in Mango at a later date to be announced.
