Marilyn Horne

HORNE, Marilyn Katherine 63, of Tampa, Florida passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved from New Bern, North Carolina to Tampa in the summer of 2001. Marilyn was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church always enjoying God’s work and serving as a Eucharistic Minister. She lived for her family and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved the beach, dancing and shopping. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Ron; children, Jeanne Nicole Williams and her husband, Taylor, Danielle Christine Sutzko, M.D. and her husband, AJ and Ronald Ollie Horne II and his wife, Aryn; grandchildren, Kenley and Kherington Williams; mother, Doris LeBlanc; siblings, Sharon Barthes, Debbie Long, Sandra Ryan, Ronnie Kay Smith, Jeanne Nell Procell, Phillip LeBlanc and Marcy Rachal. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at St. Mark the Evangelist Church at 3:00 P.M. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at Loyless Funeral Homes. Interment to be held at Quantico National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Marilyn's name may be made to one of her favorite missions, Marians of the Immaculate Conception via www.marian.org/13give, or to your local cancer nonprofit organization in her remembrance.
