Judith Lynn Tromp

TROMP, Judith “Judy” von Spreckelsen 71, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018. She was born in Staten Island, New York and moved to Florida in the mid 1990’s. Judy was a proud homemaker and was also a bank teller, a school cafeteria aide, and a security guard. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing online games, crocheting, laughing, shopping and giving gifts to others, and doing crossword puzzles. Judy loved family vacations and going to the mountains. She was a woman of faith and loved her connection with Jesus. Judy’s smile could light up a room. Her laughter and joy will be dearly missed. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, William “Wilbur” and Dorothy Holman. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Ransdell and her husband, Doug, and Susan Smith and her husband, Scott “Smitty”, and their father, Daniel von Spreckelsen; brother, William Holman Jr. and his wife, Sonja; sister, Joan Hogarth O’Keefe; five grandchildren, Kelly, Daniel, Sean, Skylar, Stephanie; and one great grandson, Rex. A funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will take place Friday 10:00 am at Lutz Cemetery. There will also be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Saint Petersburg First Church of the Brethren,3651 71st St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710. The family invites you to join them at the 10:15 church service followed by 12:00 p.m. lunch.
