Albert Raymond Wilson

WILSON, Albert Raymond, 75, of Trinity, FL, passed away May 3, 2018. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman Fourth Class. Albert was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Safety Harbor, FL, where he had served as an Elder. Prior to that, he served as Elder at the Presbyterian Church of Palm Harbor, FL. Albert also served in the men's Saturday morning breakfast/Bible study group, volunteered in Vacation Bible School, and many other church functions. Albert hosted weekly Bible study groups at his home. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed going to movies, watching TV, listening to music, especially Harry Chapin, and Garth Brooks. His favorite author was John Grisham. He also played pinochle, friendly games of poker, and enjoyed a competitive game of Trivial Pursuit with family and friends. Entertaining family and friends at his home was a major part of his life. Albert's most favorite times were spent with his five grandsons. He had a long and successful career in retail information technology. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, James and Blanche Wilson; brothers Lloyd and Donald and a sister, Carolyne Rae. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 52 years, Susanne Wilson; three sons, Albert Raymond Wilson, Jr., Alan Robert Wilson (Elizabeth) and Andrew Ryan Wilson (Crystal); five grandsons; three brothers, Erwin Wilson (Carol), James Wilson (Andrea) and Darrell Wilson (Diana); two sisters, Judith Allen (Eugene) and Linda Grabofski; many extended family and friends. A memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 18 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour to service. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
