John "Bud" Walsh

WALSH, John “Bud,” 80, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away Saturday October 27, 2018. He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and moved to Tampa, Florida from Pittsfield in 1958. Bud was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Airforce and worked in special radio operations. He also worked for Hillsborough County for 30 years at Tampa Port Authority and then retired from Tampa Sports Authority as Chief Financial Officer. Bud was also a member and minister of Cypress Creek Church in Lutz, Florida. He is preceded by his son, Brady Bernard Walsh. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dr. Ouida Walsh; son, Barry Bernard Walsh; daughter, Natalie Bamberry-Walsh and her husband, Pastor David Bamberry; sister, Kathy Caparale; grandchildren, Trent Bamberry (Kinsey), Brenna Lee Bamberry (Matthew), Seth Bamberry (Erinn); and great grandson, Silas. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm on November 1, 2018 at Cypress Creek Church. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service and interment is to follow at 11:30 am on November 2, 2018 at Florida National Cemetery.
