Charlene Ann Vanover

Charlene Ann Vanover, 87, of Land O’Lakes, Florida passed peacefully on November 6, 2018 at her home. Charlene was born on May 28, 1931, in Wolfpit, Kentucky, to Steve Edwards Scott and Nettie Jane Vanover. Charlene worked as a Cosmetologist, serving for over 48 years until her retirement. She served in many capacities at the Land O'Lakes Senior Citizen’s Center and as President of the Sunshine Club. She and her late husband, James Vanover, moved from Berkley, Michigan, to Land O’Lakes, Florida, in 1976. She was a member of the Land O’Lakes Church of Christ. She was a Christian woman within whose home worshipped and raised her children in the Word of the Lord. She was a profoundly loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Vanover; her sons, Bryce Ray Vanover and Warren Victor Vanover; daughter-in-law, Emma Vanover; and grandson, Michael Vanover. Charlene is survived by her son, James Estes Vanover; nine grandchildren, five siblings, and nine great-grandchildren.
