ALLEN, David Michael, 72, of Lutz, Florida, formerly of Beaver, Pennsylvania passed away November 26, 2018. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and worked for the U.S. Airways for over 30 years. He was an Airforce veteran and served as an Airman First Class in Vietnam. He also was a sports fan who loved the Steelers, Penguins, and the Pirates. David is preceded in death by his parents, Bess and Jack Edward Allen; and his sister, Lynn Yeargin. He is survived by his former wife, Debra Milligan; son, Jack Allen and his wife, Angie; daughter, Tracy Hansen and her husband, Eric; brother, Scrappy Allen and his wife, Nancy; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Jocelyn, Austin, Benjamin, Anthony, and Emilee. David will also be missed by several nieces and nephews, as well as his dear friend, Lynne Murray. A funeral service will be held at a later date. The family would like to send special thanks to the James A. Haley CCU staff, Cardiac Care Team, and Haley’s Cove Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made out to Haley’s Cove Veterans Hospice, located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612.
