Marie Catherine Grosso
February 20th, 1917 - March 15th, 2017
Grosso, Marie 100 A longtime resident of Gulfport. She was born 02/20/1917 in Pittsburgh PA, came to Gulfport in the early 1970'swith her 2nd husband Angelo Grosso. She's done many years of service in her community . She was a Goodwill Industries Volunteer for many years, kept in touch with them over the years. She was a charter member of Gulfport Church Of The Nazarene.(Later name changed to Trinity Church.)With Many Pastors over the years most recent was Pastor Dennis Belus And Pastor Ralph Huckeba . She served as treasurer and board member until the church closed it's doors. Meanwhile her son Gary Cannon and Pat Bailey took over as her caregivers 24/7. She loved it and went everywhere with us. We would go up to Alabama and Mississippi once or twice a year to see our kids (That is one line of the family 5 generations). Since Gary and Pat have been together over 30 years. She was pat mom too, and pat kids was hers too. She was a very special lady, always smiling and a devote Christian. Always praying for others. she enjoyed our choir and the special concerts like Simply Faith, Joyful Noise. She said every day was a Blessing. Predeceased by parents, Charles and Catherine Seibel, 3 Brothers Adolph, Charles JR. and Arthur. Sister Gladys Irene Seibel-Habyanet-Buckle Daughter Patricia Cannon- Weber- Wolf and husband Angelo Grosso. Survived by two sons Robert Cannon and Gary (Pat Bailey) Cannon . 12 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren 12 Great -Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews
