Richard Fred Bowen

BOWEN, Richard (Dick), passed away November 29, 2007, after a long battle with Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy. He was born on December 17, 1942, in Lakeland, FL. He is survived by his wife of 38 yr, Pennee; daughter, Wendy Hicks, son-in-law, Dan; grandchildren, Heidi & Trevor Hicks; sister, Anne(Judy) Garland of Dallas, TX. Dick retired from Sears Roebuck after 35 years, and worked for Home Depot for 11 yrs before his illness forced him to retire. Dick was also an avid woodworker who was a sub-contractor for Interior Spaces of Tampa. The family would like to thank the staff and administration of Gulfside Regional Hospice Diamond Team and Sun Bay Hospice House of New Port Richey, Drs. Oscar Perez, Steven Sergay & Teresa Zesiewicz for their concern and care for Dick during his illness. A special thanks go to his special angels, the Barr Family, and Jackie Britt. A Celebration of his life will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lutz, FL, on Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00PM. The family will receive friends a half hour prior to the service.
