Frederick H. Hepp

HEPP, Frederick H. Jr., 94, a long time resident of Darien, CT passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008. He was born at home in New York City, NY on February 10, 1914 to Frederick Herman Hepp Sr. and Bertha Huesgen Hepp. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. He was the owner/operator of Hepp’s Hardware and Housewares on Post Road and Center Street in Darien, CT from 1941 to 1970. After retirement, Fred and his wife, Ruth enjoyed selling at a variety of flea markets. His beloved Ruth, wife of 69 years, passed away just six weeks ago on October 6th. He is survived by his son, Paul Frederick Hepp of Longwood, FL; daughters, Nancy Bostwick of Tuscaloosa, AL and Kay Watson and husband John of Lutz, FL; grandchildren, Kathy Hall, Chris Watson, Rick Bostwick, Jonathan Watson, Steve Bostwick, Kyle Hepp, Danielle Hepp, Lesley Hepp and great grandchildren, Brandon Hall, Justin Hall, Selena Hepp, Hayden Watson, Findlay Watson, Abigail Watson and Benjamin Bostwick.
