February 19th, 1941 - May 17th, 2009
BLACK, James Robert, 68, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009. He was born in Chattanooga, TN and raised in the Methodist Faith. He served in the US Army and retired as a Colonel. He was a podiatrist for thirty years for the Veterans Administration working for the VA Hospital in Tampa as well as the Brooksville VA clinic. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Arlen Peterman Black of Spring Hill and the entire Peterman family; sister, Nancy Black Hill and nephews, Robert Blake Hill and Matthew Harrison Hill all of Oxnard, CA. A memorial service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. Interment with honors will be on Monday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m., at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
