Joyce Ferrell Berwick

BERWICK, Joyce Ferrell, 67, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009. She was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and lived in Kernersville NC. She came to Florida from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in 2000. She retired after 25 years as a realtor. Her memberships included Exciting Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz, and she was Queen Mother with the Red Hatters Fiery Fems. She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ferrel, daughter, Janice Marshburn and her grandson, Jimmy Hicks. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Jim; sons, Jim Jr. and wife Barbara of High Point, NC and Jeff Marshburn and wife Abby of Abingdon, VA; daughters Jean and husband Danny Armstrong of Union, KY, and Jenny and husband Rodney Alford of Kernersville, NC; 8 grandchildren, William, Matthew, Kevin, Zack, Cody, Elizabeth, Luke, and Brooke; 2 great grandchildren, Michael and Jennifer. A Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Loyless Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Donations may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice.
