HAMMERLUND, Donald A., 94, of Tampa, FL passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009. He was born in Minneapolis, MN and retired to Tampa in 1980. Donald was a US Army Veteran and served in WWII. He worked 45 years for Walman Optical. Donald was a true gentleman, a devoted husband and loving father. He is preceded in death by his wife, Colleen. He is survived by his three daughters, Lynn (George Steinert), Bonnie (Randy Boots) and Faye (Jerry Maciaszeck); two grandchildren, Donovan Maciaszek (Krislon) and Lisa Maciaszek and special friend, Mary Cooper. Private services will be held. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
