ELKINGTON, Donald J. Jr. “Don”, 67, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010. He was born in Toledo, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1956. Donald served in the Coast Guard Reserve. He was a real estate appraiser and had been in the real estate field for more than 35 yrs. Donald was an avid Baccarat player. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie of Land O’ Lakes; son, John Elkington of Land O’ Lakes; daughter, Dr. Ginger Snead of Marathon, Fl; four grandchildren, Nikki (Ryan) Pessagno, Anthony (Shannon) Snead, Amanda Elkington, and Aidan Elkington; three great grandchildren, Colin, Grace, Emma Pessagno; sister Kathy and her husband Freddie Garcia of Charleston, SC; niece, Michelle (Jeff) Camelio; great niece, Carli Camelio and great nephew, Anthony Camelio. Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate Don’s life from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25th at 22415 Kingsley Lane, Land O’ Lakes, Fl 34639. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Moffitt Cancer Center or the Leukemia Foundation.
