Philip Richard Stutsman

Stutsman MD, Philip Richard, 95, of Lutz, passed away Wednesday September 15, 2010. He was born in Ft. Wayne, IN. in 1914 and moved to Tampa in 1957. He was a graduate of Wheaton College, Faith Theological Seminary and Marquette University Medical School. He was a former minister and Army Chaplin. He was a physician in private practice for 15 years and retired in 2009 after 37 additional years at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. He was a member of The American Medical Association and the Hillsborough County Medical Association. He is survived by his wife of 54 wonderful years, Lillian; daughters, Karis Tiberia and husband Bob of Tampa, FL., Vidda Stutsman of Lutz, FL.; sons, Martin and wife Karen of Fairfax, Va., Paul and Wife Glynda of Co., Stan Kennedy and Wife Pam of Sarasota, Fl.; grandchildren, David Tiberia and wife Jen, Allison Tiberia, Jeptha Stutzman, Adam Stutzman, Sarah Stutzman, Rachel Kennedy, Jennifer Stearns and husband Dean. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday at 4:00 PM at LifePoint Community Church of Tampa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. .
