Allaine Spivey Davis

DAVIS, Allaine Spivey, 84, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Monday, December 27, 2010. She was born in Lakeland, Fla., raised in Wauchula, Fla., and came to Tampa in 1950. Allaine was a secretary with Jim Walter Corp of Tampa for more than 35 years and had recently worked as a part time receptionist with Experience Works of Tampa. She was a long time active member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil “Tex” Davis. She is survived by her two sons, Virgil “Len” Davis and his wife, Sharon of Tampa and Marty Davis and his wife, Robin of Riverview; four grandchildren, Mark and his wife, Heidi, Jennifer Langsford and her husband, Rick, Jessica Newton and her husband, R.J. and Sarah Davis; three great grandchildren, Hannah and Zachary Langsford and Amber Newton. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Forest Hills United Methodist Church. Donations may be made in Allaine’s memory to Forest Hills United Methodist Church.
