CAPTAIN, Stella, 89, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she moved to Florida from Toms River, New Jersey in 2001, most recently residing at West Winds in Zephyrhills. Stella was proud to be a member of the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, Tampa. She was preceded in death by her husband, George and is survived by three children and their families, including three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Tampa. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Loyless funeral home in Land O’ Lakes. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Stella to St John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2418 Swann Avenue, Tampa FL 33609.
