ROMANO, Ann Frances, 58, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013. She was born in Lindenhurst, NY and moved to FL more than 20 years ago. Ann retired from Verizon and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed caring for her seven cats. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Fran Romano and her niece, Gia Romano. Ann was a devoted daughter, a beloved sister and a loving aunt. She is survived by her two brothers, Thomas, (TJ) and Luke; two sisters, Dr. Kathleen Romano and Maria Palmer; six nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday evening at Loyless Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Lupus Foundation.
