EVENSON, Maynard Irvin “Mayn” 62, of Tampa, FL and formerly of Raleigh, NC, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011. He was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Mayn’s passion was playing golf. He is survived by his two sons, Ben of Raleigh, NC and Cortlan of Cary, NC; father, Irvin (Masie) of Dade City; two brothers, Mike of Vero Beach and Marty (Rosie) of Orlando; two sisters, Doris Younglove (Bruce) of Land O’ Lakes, Julie Voorhees (Jim) of Reno, Nevada; two stepsisters, Donna Strokes and Sue Hiser of Dade City; his life long best friend, Mike Peer (Sandy) of Land O’ Lakes; along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A celebration of Mayn’s life will take place at 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mayn’s final resting place will be in Raleigh, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family at 9835 Pine Leaf Lane, Dade City, FL 33525.
