Walter Clarence Sajben

SAJBEN, Walter C., 84, of Lutz, FL passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. A resident of Tampa Bay since 1972, he was born in Akron, Ohio, 7th of 12 children to Samuel and Sophie Sajben. Walter was a devout member of the First Baptist Church of Land O’ Lakes, where he served as deacon for several years. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty; daughter, Cheryl; and eight siblings. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Patricia; two daughters, Julie Woodall (Marcus) of Masaryktown, and Marjorie Sajben of Tampa; granddaughter Michelle Ivey (Mike) of Ann Arbor, MI; great-grandchildren Eryn Ivey and Ryan Ivey; five step children; brothers, Samuel, John (Wanda) and Carl; sister, Nancy Sajben; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27th at the First Baptist Church of Land O’ Lakes. Interment will follow at the First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walter’s memory to Land O’ Lakes Christian School A Ministry of First Baptist Church of Land O’ Lakes.
