February 14th, 1922 - January 9th, 2012
BEDINGFIELD, John Douglas, 89, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Monday, January 9, 2012. He was born in Ocean View, VA and moved to Fla., in 1940. John was U.S. Navy Veteran and served during WWII and the Korean War. He was a retired aircraft mechanic for Pan American and was a member of the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sally Ann. John is survived by his son, Scott of Stuart; two daughters, Sherry Bedingfield of Tampa and Wanda Butler (Alan) of Brandon; two sisters, Lucy (Frank) Lombardo and Dorothy Nustad all of Ocala and granddaughter, Sabrina Maharaj of Tampa. John’s final resting place will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
