MAHON, Shirley Ann (nee Davis), 87, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Friday February 3, 2012. She was born in Erie, PA. Shirley married Robert J. Mahon after attending Academy High School and two years of Finishing School. She lived primarily in Silver Springs, MD and Land O’ Lakes, FL. Shirley was an avid tennis player well into her sixty’s and enjoyed nothing more than a game of Trivial Pursuit or solving a crossword puzzle with her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years. She is survived by her eight children, thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and countless friends. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at Lake Padgett Bath and Racquet Club, 4533 Savanah Way, Land O’ Lakes, Fl 34639 on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 6117 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653.
