Jan Parker

PARKER, Jan, 53, of Tampa, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012. She was born in Bronxville, NY, and moved to Tampa in the early 80’s. She was the embodiment of a servant leader for her family. Jan loved the beach, traveling, fellowship with friends, reading, and her two dogs; most of all, she loved her family and her God. She is survived by her husband, David; three daughters and a son, Kelsey Parker of Tampa, Samantha Parker-Hopkins and her husband, John of Lakeland, Melanie Parks and her husband, Greg of Lakeland and Ryan Mylott of Houston, TX; brother, Doug McKenzie and his wife, Ann Marie of Bethlehem, PA; sister, Carol LeMaire and her husband, Brett of Castle Rock, CO; four grandchildren, Raeanne and Veronica Parks, and Emma and Sophie Hopkins, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or you can make donations in her memory to the St. Mark building fund.
