MOORE, Gerald “Jerry”, 61, of New Port Richey, FL passed away August 1, 2013. Jerry was born in Coral Gables and traveled all over through his 22 year military career from which he Retired as a First Sergeant in the US Army. Jerry always returned home to Florida. Jerry enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as hiking with his Betty. Jerry was a wonderful husband and father. He is preceded in death by his father, Wallace and his brother, Wayne. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Betty Moore; two sons, Gerald Jr. and James and his wife Alex; mother, Gloria; two nieces, Shannon and Gail; two aunts, Dorothy and Virginia; his two grandchildren, Devin and Bishop; many other extended family members and his beloved maltese, Lacy. Interment with military honors will be conducted at Florida National Cemetery at a later date. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
