Joy and Stanley Beke

BEKE, Joy Lee, 80 of Lakeland, Florida passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013. She was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved from Dayton to Florida in 1981. She worked in sales with Supreme Optical in Franklin, Ohio and Tampa Florida. Joy enjoyed dancing, gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved her dogs Nikki and Lilly. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kimberly Kaye Cleary. Just four days after her death, her beloved husband, Stanley passed away. BEKE, Stanley “Stan” Jr., 85 of Lakeland, Florida passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Florida in 1980. He was a veteran in the US Marines and served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He retired as a SGT Major. Stan was a member of the VFW. His beloved wife Joy preceded him in death by four days. Stan enjoyed every minute of the 14 years of unconditional love by Joy and her family. Stan and Joy are survived by their children Mary Kintz (Ed) of Indiana, Steve Cleary (Gloria) and Joe Cleary (Lynn) all of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; Cathy Sanders (Don) of Lakeland, Florida, sisters, Cindy Jennings of Dayton, Ohio, Nancy Ensley (Norman) of Dayton, Ohio and Donna Downing (Jeff) of Hudson, Florida; grandchildren, Adam Kintz and Amy Allen (Kevin); great grandsons, Cole and Cody Allen; several nieces and nephews A Celebration of Joy & Stan’s life will be held at a later date.
