PEDERSEN, Kenneth Andrew, Jr., “Ken,” 74, of Lutz, Florida passed away Friday, October 17, 2014. Formerly of South, Saint Paul, Minnesota; Ken made his residence in Florida since 1978. He retired in 2000 from Norsk Hydro, prior he has worked for Becker Industries, CF Industries and Transammonia. He was Vice President of Domestic Ammonia Sales and traveled internationally with the fertilizer industry. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Andrew and Katherine Frances (McGuire); grandson, Brian Edward Paul; sister, Jackie Patet and her husband, Randy; brother, Ed Pedersen; two nephews, Kent Patet and Ryan Jerhoff; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bev and Glenn Hall. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Liz; seven children, Dan Pedersen, Doug Pedersen, Julie Tokat and her husband, Murat, Susan Thompson and her husband, Stewart, John Pedersen, EJ Semmerling and his wife, Liz, and Maggie Boykin and her husband, Bill; eleven grandchildren, Kelsey and Logan Pedersen, Cassidy Paul, Tyler Tokat, Tyler and Sydney Thompson, Gabriella and Emme Semmerling, Jaydin, Mikayla and Camden Boykin; sister, Jeannie Jerhoff and her husband, Pat; brother-in-law, John Poyner; former wife, Peggy Pedersen; and numerous nephews and nieces. Ken loved life; he enjoyed fishing, boating, golf, wood working, and his TV shows. Most of all, he loved his family. Ken is going to be missed greatly by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Services will be private.
